Privacy Statement

Supper Wines holds a single mailing list of basic contact information including email addresses for customers, those who have signed up to our occasional newsletter, and those who have shown an interest in our business. All the data we hold simply enables us to keep in touch for as long as you choose to hear from us. We will never sell your data or share it with any third parties.

If you choose to contact us using the contact form on our home page or via any email link, none of the data that you supply will be stored by this website or passed to / be processed by any third party data processors. Instead the data will be collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and imported into our mailing list.

Please provide your consent allowing us to keep your contact details on file and to send you our occasional newsletters or other correspondence we think may be of interest. Thank you.

PayPal purchases via our online shop

Like all other organisations, PayPal is subject to GDPR regulations. Contact information from Paypal will not be added to our mailing list without your explicit consent.  Link to PayPal privacy statement.

Accounting via Xero

Our accounting system is Xero, a cloud-based accounting software system. Information held in Xero is used for legitimate sales and invoicing purposes only and we will not add your name to our mailing list without your explicit consent. Xero is subject to GDPR regulations and their GDPR readiness status can be found here. We consider the information held in Xero to be of 'legitimate interest' for conducting our business (see below)

Legitimate Interest

We consider it 'legitimate interest' to hold contact details for our customers on the basis that we cannot do business - sales, invoicing, delivery, delivery communications, etc - without this information, and that you would reasonably expect a level of service that requires such information to be held.  You can read the definition of Legitimate Interest here.
